In the final matches in all three categories, last weekend marked the end of the 16th Memorial Indoor Football Tournament in Bjelajce 2022.

This year, for the first time, the company Lykos Balkan Metals joined as a sponsor of this sports event.

Alongside sponsorship, the Lykos Balkan Metals football team competed in the senior category and achieved a very good and notable result.

During the tournament’s final evening, bad weather and rain failed to spoil the fantastic atmosphere that accompanied all the matches. Fair play, high-scoring games from all teams, and enthusiastic cheering were integral parts of this tournament.

Our geologist Mladen Stevanović had the honor of awarding prizes on behalf of Lykos to the best teams in the veterans’ category.

Teams “As Sport Lauš” and “Rent a car Šikman kombi Banja Luka” competed for the prestigious title. Since the regular match ended goalless, the winner was decided by penalties, and the team “As Sport Lauš” claimed the championship title in the veterans’ category.

The top-notch organization and the high attendance at all matches are indicators that the residents of Bjelajce know how to create a sporting event worthy of every attention.
