CEO Milos Bosnjakovic unveils company’s bold plans for 2023 in an exclusive interview

Short biography:

Mr Bošnjaković is a dual national of Australia and Bosnia and Herzegovina. He is a qualified lawyer with extensive business experience in the Former Yugoslav Republics, Australia and New Zealand. Mr Bosnjakovic has significant experience identifying and developing mineral projects in the Balkans.

In 2013 he established Eastern Mining d.o.o. which pegged and developed the Vares and Rupice deposits. Upon the incorporation of Adriatic Metals PLC, he remained as director of Eastern Mining and until 2020 acted as both head of regulatory in permitting and board member for Adriatic Metals PLC, he is the founder of Lykos Balkan Metals and co-founder and CEO of Lykos Metals Limited, as well as other Australian Stock Exchange listed companies.

How have you found yourself in the world of geology exploration?

The mystery and beauty of all the vast wealth beneath the surface of our planet has always captured my attention. Being based in Australia, where the fields of geology and mining are rich with experience and opportunities, has further encourage my interest in exploring these areas from both scientific and economic perspectives.

Could you share some information about your past projects in Europe?

Despite living in Australia for so long, my origins in Bosnia and Herzegovina have kept me closely connected to the country. With its rich history in mining and abundant geological resources, I was drawn to bring my knowledge and experience back to Europe to embark on a new chapter in my career. I initiated a Project in Vareš that allowed me to apply my expertise to a great extent, and as a founder of Eastern Mining and co-founder of Adriatic, I am proud to see that projects I helped to set on a solid path continue to thrive successfully.

Can you share any information regarding the latest projects and ground-breaking exploration results of Lykos Balkan Metals?

In 2021, we initiated a new project and designated exploration sites in four municipalities within the Republic of Srpska, namely Čajniče, Jezero, Mrkonjić Grad and Petrovo. Our government – issued license enabled us to cover approximately 150 square kilometres. All the designated exploration sites are highly perspective, and we are very pleased to have the opportunity to divulge our latest laboratory findings from the Jezero Municipality exploration site to out stakeholders and the public.

What are your plans for 2023?

We are planning to continue drilling at the Jezero project where we have found excellent results in excavation. We are also working continuously with the Government on the Sočkovac project and looking for a way to return and continue our promising activities there. Regarding the Čajniče project, we are working on analysing the existing geological results and planning our future steps accordingly. Therefore, 2023 will be a very demanding year, but a year in which we expect and plan for a lot of new and positive information that we will obtain through drilling program across all projects. Lykos aims to become a leading exploration and mining company in the Balkans by discovering, developing and producing high-quality mineral resources. Our vision for the company aligns with this objective and my team’s expertise will be instrumental in achieving these goals.

In your capacity as the newly appointed CEO of Lykos Metals Limited, what message do you have for the company’s shareholders?

Personally, I am committed to enhancing communication with our shareholders, and I am pleased that my team shares the same sentiment. In addition to announcing our ground-breaking findings, we aim to foster greater transparency and communication with both our shareholders and the public at large. This is just the beginning of what we anticipate will be a series of exciting discoveries, based on our extensive experience and expertise in the field so far.
