By purchasing and installing much-needed air conditioning units at the Health Center in Čajniče, Lykos Balkan Metals and its subsidiary Braha Resources continue their mission of supporting the local community.

After meetings with the management of this healthcare institution, it was concluded that air conditioning units are essential for the smooth operation of the laboratory and the equipment housed there, especially during the summer months. This is particularly significant for the part of the Health Center where snakebite serums are stored. The risk of snakebites is especially high for geologists who work outdoors in nature, in areas inhabited by various reptile species, including snakes.

Expressing gratitude for the donation, Dr. Vladimir Arsenović, the director of the Health Center, emphasized the importance of this investment by Lykos Balkan Metals and the improvement of conditions for all patients who need to visit the Čajniče Health Center. Nedeljko Golušin, a public relations specialist at Lykos Balkan Metals, highlighted the company’s readiness for further support to institutions in Čajniče and the local community as a whole, and thanked Director Arsenović for the opportunity to assist the local Health Center.

It is worth noting that within the municipality of Čajniče, the Health Center “Vaso Pelagić” in Čajniče is the primary healthcare institution based on the principles of family medicine.
