As in previous years, our company had the honor to once again attend the celebration of the day od the Municipality of Čajniče, the Assumption day of the Blessed Virgin Mary. This special event marks the baptismal glory of the Church of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary and the entire Municipality, representing a deep-rooted tradition and spirit of community. 

Čajniče, endowed with a special blessing, is proud of the Church of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary, where the priceless Miraculous Icon of Čajniče Krasnica is kept. This holy icon has been watching over the inhabitants of this region for centuries, providing protection from all dangers. The Church of the Assumption itself, declared a national monument of Bosnia and Herzegovina in 2007, attracts numerous pilgrims from various parts of the world who come to worship this shrine. 

The Assumption day is a day when you can really feel the kindness of the local people in Čajniče, at every step. The central litia, led by the clergy and the mayor of the municipality, Mr. Karadžić, gathers a large number of people who want to be part of this procession. After the procession, a solemn lunch for all present guests was organized. 

Lykos Balkan Metals and its daughter company Braha Resources have two years of successful cooperation with the municipality of Čajniče. During the past period, we implemented a significant number of community projects that contributed to the local community and its development. This collaboration reflects our commitment to supporting and strengthening ties with the communities in which we operate.
