Earlier this week, we had the honor of hosting Mr. Petar Tomašević, who recently became a new member of the Board and a non-executive director of Lykos Metals Limited, our parent company based in Australia.
Mr. Tomašević had a unique opportunity to learn about our company’s projects and to visit the exploration sites in the municipalities where they are being implemented together with the executive director of Lykos Balkan Metals, Mr. Mladen Lujić. During the visit, we informed Mr. Tomašević in detail about the results of geological explorations that indicated the presence of new gold-bearing geological formations in the territory of the municipality of Jezero. It should be emphasized that these results significantly contributed to the evaluation of the high geological potential of the project itself.
To provide a complete insight into the operational efforts of our company in the municipality of Jezero, we also organized a meeting with Mrs. Snežana Ružičić, the mayor. At the meeting, we additionally emphasized the support of the Ministry of Energy and Mining of the Republic of Srpska, which supported our company’s projects and geological explorations in this municipality.
This once again confirms that foreign investment projects in the Republic of Srpska are extremely important for its economic development because they provide a perspective of a secure future not only for workers and companies involved in explorations, but also for the communities in which projects are being implemented.
